Barcelona face midfield crisis ahead of Chelsea clash with Andres Iniesta now a major doubt after hamstring injury

◆ Andres Iniesta reportedly suffers tear in his right hamstring vs Atletico Madrid
◆ The midfielder soldiered on for 10 minutes before finally asking to be taken off
◆ He is unlikely to recover in time to face Chelsea in Champions League second leg
◆ Philippe Coutinho is cup-tied while other midfield options are in very poor form
◆ Andres Iniesta's hamstring injury has presented Barcelona coach Ernesto Valverde with a midfield crisis ahead of the visit of Chelsea to the Nou Camp next week.

Iniesta was replaced by Andre Gomes on Sunday against Atletico Madrid but the out-of-sorts former Valencia midfielder was whistled by sections of the stadium.

Other options to replace Iniesta include Paulinho and Ousmane Dembele but both are also struggling for form, and Philippe Coutinho is Champions League cup-tied.
